Logan Ramsey works for the Gene Protection Agency in future where genetic engineering is banned due to the global famine caused by modified crops - a work of his mother. When he's exposed to the unwanted "upgrade", the fight for the human enhacement begins. At least that much I can say without revealing the major spoilers.
The book reads easily. It's face-paced, full of action, but somehow feels a bit thin, like it's missing something. While it might open the interesting premise it fails to deliver and expand on it. But as a quick read, it's worth a shot.
